A future growth precinct — City of Melton (long-term planning)

Transport

Connected to Melton, pointed at Melbourne.

Bulmans Road sits on Melton's growth front, so it inherits the township's established transport spine — rail to the city, the Western Freeway (M8) west–east, and regional retail minutes away.

Rail

Melton Station (Melbourne–Ballarat line) is the nearest station, on the Melbourne–Ballarat line with services to Southern Cross. Any future station or bus interchange within the precinct would be identified by the precinct structure plan.

Road

The Western Freeway (M8) is the primary route to Melbourne. Local access is via the Bulmans Rd corridor, NW of Melton township — confirm at PSP. Road upgrades and new connector roads are determined at planning stage.

Bus

Existing bus routes serve Melton township, High Street and Woodgrove. Route extensions into new precincts typically follow first occupation.

Air

Melbourne Airport is approximately 38km away via the Western Freeway (M8) and the outer ring road network.
